Jon-Paul McCarthy Caricature ArtistJon-Paul is a classically trained animator from London who has worked in art since graduating from Ballyfermot Art College in Dublin in 2002. He started his career in classical animation before working as the assistant artist for the royal portrait painter Alexander Talbot-Rice. While working for Talbot-Rice, Jon-Paul was also illustrating published books and created his own series of children's books Eddie the Egg. At the peak of its success, a 5ft sculpture of Eddie the Egg featured at the entrance of Hamley's Toy shop in London. Due this success Jon-Paul realised that his future laid in cartoons and illustrations. He then moved in to the world of caricatures which he has always had a passion for since a young age. 

Jon-Paul is now an award winning caricaturist and illustrator who works at events, for publications and any other type of commission. He is one of the top caricaturists in the country. His work ranges from weddings and corporate parties to week long exhibitions and shopping mall entertainment in front of thousands of people. Jon-Paul specialises in large corporate commissions, mainly for banks including JP Morgan and HSBC to celebrate a business transaction. His live work is either traditional with pen and paper or digital using an iPad. His work has been internationally published in many different outlets including the Daily Mail and Sunday Times. He has featured in the Muppets Most Wanted feature film and numerous TV appearances including the Gadget Show. Some of his clients includes Disney, Warner Bros, Apple and Microsoft and he regularly works for professional football clubs around the world. His unique and quirky style makes him stand out in any type of event. Jon-Paul is based in South England but works all over England and abroad. He regularly works at events in the Middle East. Countries he has worked in includes Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Kuwait and Egypt. He has many clients across Europe and America.
